Your Responsibilities
- Development, design and engineering of components, assemblies and mechanical systems for our test benches and equipment
- Creation and maintenance of 3D models, technical drawings and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks
- Concept development and mechanical design of customer-specific technical solutions
- Preparation and review of design documents, bills of materials and technical documentation
- Technical coordination with suppliers and selection of suitable components and manufacturing partners
- Support with cost calculations for the preparation of technical quotations
- Involvement in our projects from design and manufacturing through assembly to commissioning
- Close collaboration with our electrical engineering, software development, project management and manufacturing teams
- Ensuring compliance with technical requirements regarding quality, costs and deadlines
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Ideally, at least two years of practical experience in mechanical design – motivated graduates with relevant hands-on experience are also welcome
- Good working knowledge of SolidWorks or a comparable 3D CAD system
- Strong technical understanding and solid knowledge of mechanics and thermodynamics
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and a practical approach to mechanical design challenges
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoy working in interdisciplinary project teams
- Very good German and good English language skills
