about us

Scientific Engineering
Since 1999

EUtech develops engineering solutions and products for test, automation and energy applications. What drives us is engineering for complex technical and energy systems: understanding the actual task, connecting the right disciplines and developing systems that work

approach

Close to the Project. Responsible for the Result.

EUtech projects are handled by engineers who stay close to the technical details and the customer’s team. This keeps decisions direct, interfaces clear and development focused on the result

“At EUtech, we’ve built over two decades of engineering excellence by consistently delivering high-quality, innovative solutions that meet the complex needs of our customers worldwide. Our success is grounded in deep technical expertise, a relentless commitment to quality, and a collaborative team that pushes the boundaries of engineering every day.”

EUtech Milestones & History

Founded in Aachen

EUtech is founded in Aachen by Dr. Michael Haug, Dr. Jörg Meyer and Dr. Michael Schreiber. From the outset, thermodynamics, process simulation and energy optimization are combined with turnkey physical engineering

1999

Hydrogen Systems and Model-Based Engineering

Fuel-cell technology accelerates EUtech’s development of complete physical and digital systems. Test stands, gas handling, FClib, EUflame and predictive control turn scientific models into reusable engineering solutions

2002–2004

Model-Enabled Complete Systems

Model-based engineering expands into controllers, automatic code generation, hardware-in-the-loop validation, media-conditioning systems and flexible test stands. Thermolib links digital models with real components and operating conditions.

2007–2010

From Individual Solutions to Industrial Platforms

EU-MDM structures growing volumes of measurement data, while advanced diagnostics and complex turnkey testing and production systems expand EUtech’s capabilities. Individual technologies evolve into scalable platforms combining hardware and software

2014–2017

Intelligent Energy Systems

EUflame, EUsoft air and EUcontrol bring physical measurement, virtual sensing and predictive control together. The result is a coherent approach to making complex energy systems more transparent, adaptable and effective in operation

2020–2022

Engineering Across the Lifecycle

Hydrogen and fuel-cell test environments, containerized systems, relocation, modernization and digital upgradation extend EUtech’s role across the full lifecycle - from new equipment to the intelligent enhancement of existing assets

2025

Turnkey Engineering and Intelligent Optimization

EUtech moves beyond analysing technical systems to improving them in practice. Neural networks, virtual sensors, industrial load management, combustion diagnostics and early turnkey test stands shape an integrated engineering approach

2000–2001

Measure, Control, Optimize

International installations and new particle and temperature diagnostics broaden the power-plant portfolio. Measurement hardware, automation and advanced control become one integrated approach to improving industrial processes

2005–2006

Closing the Physical-Digital Loop

Physical measurements, virtual sensors, dynamic models and model-predictive control converge into closed-loop optimization. EUtech connects plant equipment and operating data directly with more efficient and reliable performance

2011–2013

From Test Benches to Integrated Testing Solutions

EUtech advances from individual test benches to complete testing environments combining mechanics, media conditioning, electrical systems, automation, software and data. Collaboration with leading technology partners supports this approach

2018–2019

Transferable Systems Engineering

Complex systems for aerospace and defence, Formula 1 and controlled-environment research demonstrate how EUtech transfers modelling, automation, thermal management and data expertise into highly diverse testing, production and research applications

2023–2024

Engineering Intelligence for a Digital Future

EUtech unites physical engineering with digital intelligence. Turnkey systems, measurement technology, automation, models, virtual sensors, digital twins and applied AI converge into solutions that are intelligent, adaptable and grounded in reality
