Simulation tool for new guideline VDI 4656
Platform for simulation and design of micro combined heat and power (CHP) systems
EUtech has developed a software tool for simulation and design of micro combined heat and power systems as part of the new VDI guideline 4656 "Planning and design of micro-CHP systems" (VDI "Planung und Dimensionierung von Mikro-KWK-Anlagen").
This simulation tool allows to examine, design, configure and optimize the configuration of heating installations, including conventional heating installations as well as micro-CHP units. Particular attention is paid to detailed analysis of the interaction between different technologies, configuration of hydraulic systems, house types, climates and consumption profiles, life-time characteristics, costs, emissions etc.
