Lecture on Model-Based Design, Arnhem, May 20, 2009

Ms. Houda Karaki, software engineer at EUtech Scientific Engineering, holds a lecture titled ?Model-Based Design of a Fuel Cell Vehicle? at the Hogeschool van Arnhem and Nijmegen (HAN University of Applied Science) in the Netherlands.

The lecture introduces to the concept of model-based design in control engineering. Among the topics presented are: practical development of a controller using process models; building process models and controllers in Matlab/Simulink using ThermoLib and Stateflow; the advantages of MiL (model-in-the-loop) and HiL (hardware-in-the-loop) testing; a live demonstration of a HiL test of a controller for a fuel cell vehicle.
