Battery development - Simulation and Test at Innovationsforum 2010
EUtech and Noffz present the EMSimTest-Platform in Düsseldorf
EUtech Scientific Engineering GmbH, Aachen and Noffz Computertechnik GmbH, Tönisvorst have jointly set up the EMSimTest-Platform for development and testing of batteries and battery management systems. Both companies have combined their strengths and expertise in the fields of simulation and platform testing in developing an integrated testing platform for the electric mobility sector.
Both companies presented the latest development of the EMSimTest platform at the Innovationsforum 2010 at Daimler AG in Düsseldorf. The presentation attracted many attendees and received a positive response during the course of the day.
The EMSimTest platform is applicable for control units, electronic components and batteries in industrial and automotive applications. The advantage of this test platform is the deployment of model-based testing, which enables easy and quick exposure of tested components to various conditions and situations. With identification of battery system parameters the battery models can be adapted to real system behaviour. By integration of power train models and load cycle simulation in combination with stringent failure mode tests the EMSimTest tester allows flexible adaptation to user-defined test configuration. The modular design makes it easy to customize and scale the EMSimTest platform to your individual needs.
